Supporting Our Communities Through Financial Literacy Programs

Supporting financial literacy with the Credit for Life Fair

What is financial literacy? Financial literacy is the ability of individuals to make appropriate decisions in managing their personal finances. As our culture and society continues to grow in complexity, so does the need to understand personal finances and financial management. The financial challenges we've all faced in recent years have never made it so clear that this need is not being adequately met.

As a mutual savings bank, a key component of our mission is to focus on the long-term future not just of the Bank, but also of the communities we serve, and to improve the quality of life for all those within those communities. We offer a number of programs throughout the year to teach various segments of our communities about the importance of solid money management skills.
